Richard Antinucci continued his winning ways at Watkins Glen International, running a perfect race to take his third-consecutive victory of the season in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series. The No. 16 Change Racing driver, representing Lamborghini Carolinas, led from the pole and never looked back, remaining at the head of the field for the entire 50-minute race.

Jonathan Cecotto and Vito Postiglione, instead, finished second after taking their third win in a row yesterday and are therefore still leading the PRO standings. Lamborghini, drivers and teams returned to Suzuka Circuit again today to once again do battle for the podium after yesterday’s epic race. After a drizzling and damp morning at track, featuring the dramatic second of two rounds of the Blancpain GT Asia series, the Huracán Super Trofeo took to the grid for what was to be a safety car start. With a wet race declared, teams fitted wet tires and drivers adjusted their traction control settings for the awaiting challenge. As the light rainfall steadily gained in momentum and with water collecting on the track, it was sure to be a thrilling race.

Vito Postiglione and Jonathan Cecotto are making a habit of winning. After scoring two victories in the previous round at Silverstone, the Italian-Venezuelan duo has also taken the victory in the first of the two races scheduled at Paul Ricard, during the third round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe. This success allows the drivers of Imperiale Racing to slightly extend their advantage in the PRO standings, in which, before this French round, they were leading by only one point over Raphael Abbate and Yuki Nemoto, who finished sixth with the colors of VS Racing.

World renowned Italian luxury super car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini is readying for the third round of the 2017 Super Trofeo Asia series, the Asian incarnation of its now global customer GT racing series. The two-day racing double header will be held at Japan’s famed Suzuka Circuit this coming weekend, and will mark the sixth consecutive year Lamborghini has held a Super Trofeo race in Japan. The competition returns to Suzuka Circuit for the second time in two years, after the track was first featured in last year’s competition. The 2017 Super Trofeo Asia series follows with another Japanese race weekend at Fuji International Speedway next month.
